The Ebbinghaus Curve of Forgetting #1

In a way my life is one long book review. Right now I am reading a book about KLF which talks about the narrative of a life having its own life cycle of editing and reconstruction as time passes.

Things in my everyday life other than books are: the garden, parenthood, partnership, the studio, ideas.

Today in the garden, the winter lettuces are going to seed, I watered and mulched the new transplants, the new patch of lawn is starting to grow.

This morning bugs and I took my library book back before the library opened. The book was due back yesterday but I still had a hundred pages to go.

After the library, we went to the swings by the beach and saw dogs, boats, another little kid on the swings, people running. Ordinary things, heightened by experiencing them alongside someone who is seeing them with fairly new eyes. It’s only her second summer ever, wow.
